PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing the time before an indoor temperature reaches a preset temperature to improve comfort.SOLUTION: In a refrigeration circuit 14, heating operation is performed by a refrigerant circulating through a compressor 51, an indoor heat exchanger 21, a motor valve 54, and an outdoor heat exchanger 53, in this order. A control device 80 can select a normal heating mode and a rapid heating mode in the heating operation. The control device 80 decreases an operation frequency of the compressor 51 in the normal heating mode when the indoor temperature reaches a first threshold temperature set lower than a desired temperature on the basis of the desired temperature, while the device does not decrease the operation frequency of the compressor 51 in the rapid heating mode before the indoor temperature reaches a second threshold temperature set higher than the first threshold temperature on the basis of the desired temperature. |
