This solid-state imaging element is provided with: a photosensing cell array containing a first through fourth photosensing cell (2a-2d); a spectroscopy element array containing a first spectroscopy element (1a) disposed facing the first photosensing cell (2a), and a second spectroscopy element (1b) disposed facing the third photosensing cell (2c); and a microlens array containing a first microlens (4a) and a second microlens (4b). Of light entering via the first microlens (4a), the first spectroscopy element (1a) causes the entry of light of a first and second color component respectively to the first and second photosensing cell (2a, 2b), and of the light entering via the second microlens (4b), the second spectroscopy element (1b) causes the entry of light of a third and fourth color component respectively to the third and fourth photosensing cell (2c, 2d). Light that has not passed through the first and second microlens (4a, 4b) also enters the second and fourth photosensing cells (2b, 2d).
