<p>A suspension bracket (100) can be permanently attached to an upper ceiling (200) and to a batten (300). Several rows of such suspension brackets attach parallel battens (300) at a predetermined height such that a cladding or dropped ceiling can be attached to the battens (300). Upper retaining means (115, 166) are attached to the upper end (110) of the bracket and are adapted to carry the weight of the suspension bracket (100) during its permanent attachment to the upper ceiling (200). Lower retaining means (125, 126) are attached to the lower end (120) of the bracket and are adapted to retain a batten (300) during its permanent attachment to the lower end (120). Thereby, an installer gets two free hands to attach bracket and batter. The bracket further comprises tubing attachments (102) that facilitates attaching pipes for power cables and other pipes to the bracket (100). A method for manufacturing wherein the entire bracket (100) is made in one punching operation is also described.</p> |
