Disclosed are a cascade-type compound and an organic light emitting diode comprising the same. The cascade-type compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1: n is 0 or 1; and R1 and R4 are independently a substituted or non-substituted C1-C60 alkyl group or a substituted or non-substituted non-condensed cyclic group with 3-10 ring formation atoms. The organic light emitting diode comprising the cascade-type compound is capable of having low driving voltage, high efficiency, high color purity, and long lifetime.
