PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mechanically sort two kinds of coins comprising a first kind of coin and a second kind of coin into a genuine coin and a false coin, to hold a prescribed number of these coins for each denomination, and to provide a coin selection device attached with a coin holding device that can store by releasing a reserved amount when the reserved amount reaches a prescribed amount.SOLUTION: A first holding body 514 and a first fixed holding body 516 tunable to a turning position at a first standby position, a first holding position, and a first release position for a first kind coin hold a second kind coin jointly with the first fixed holding body at the first holding position, and a second holding body 564 and a second fixed holding body 566 tunable to the turning position at a second standby position, a second holding position, and a second release position for a second kind coin hold the second kind coin jointly with a second fixed holding body at the second holding position, and only when the first holding body is turned to the first holding position and the second holding body is turned to the second holding position by a first cooperation device 512, both of the first holding body and the second holding body are turned to the first release position and the second release position, and the first kind coin and the second kind coin are received. |
