PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editing apparatus for editing a moving image capable of easily protecting the privacy and the right of portrait without degrading the original image quality and details, in the case where the image is to be released to the general public on a network.SOLUTION: The image editing apparatus includes: an input unit to receive a moving image stream; an extracting unit to extract a specific subject from at least one frames included in the received moving image stream; and an image processor to perform masking on the specific subject included in the frames included in the received moving image stream. The image processor determines whether or not to perform the masking on the specific subject, in accordance with a predetermined output condition based on at least an output resolution of the moving image stream (S1302) and performs the masking on the subject on the basis of the determination result (S1303). |
