PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies related to vehicle physical distribution business in which operations such as registration and search for vehicle yard locations in a terminal are efficiently performed, an inexpensive system having enough management accuracy is provided, and lead time is reduced.SOLUTION: A system comprises a PC 3 used by an administrator, an HH terminal 1 carried by an operator, and a GPS receiver 2. The HH terminal 1 has a function for reading out first data including a vehicle ID from a vehicle medium and a function for acquiring positioning information (second data) through short distance communication with the GPS receiver 2. For registering a vehicle position, the HH terminal 1 acquires first and second data, transmits them to the PC 3, and then registers information corresponding to the vehicle ID and the position of the vehicle into a DB through the operator's operations. A site area for a vehicle yard is managed by location (partition), and the vehicle yard position is managed being linked with positioning information and a location ID. |
