<p>Provided are a method for easily and non-invasively determining the degree of stratification and/or differentiation of cultured cells, and a device for determining the degree of stratification and/or differentiation of cultured cells. The method for determining the degree of stratification and/or differentiation of cultured cells comprises: (a) a collection step for collecting a liquid culture medium of the cultured cells; (b) an analysis step for analyzing at least one metabolite of the pentose phosphate pathway and/or TCA cycle in the liquid culture medium; and (c) a determination step for referring the analysis results obtained in the analysis step to a correlation database of the degree of stratification and/or differentiation of cultured cells and metabolite analysis results, said database having been preliminarily prepared, to thereby determine the degree of stratification and/or differentiation of the cultured cells.</p> |
