<p>Provided is a cylindrical vibration damping device with a novel structure capable of relative positioning, in an axial direction, an intermediate ring and an outer cylindrical member in a structure where the intermediate ring and the outer cylindrical member are mounted without bonding. A cylindrical vibration damping device (10), wherein an outer cylinder member (18) has a divided structure, divided into two on the circumference, and the outer cylinder member (18) is fit, without bonding, to the exterior of an intermediate ring (14, 14) by way of the outer cylinder member (18) enclosing the intermediate ring (14, 14) in the radial direction, and that comprises a positioning means for positioning the intermediate ring (14, 14) and the outer cylinder member (18) in the axial direction by way of the intermediate ring (14, 14) and a plurality of restricting projections (60, 72 (62, 74)) being in direct contact in the axial direction, where the restricting projections (60, 72 (62, 74)) projecting radially inward are formed on the outer cylinder member (18) separated in the axial direction at a prescribed distance, and the restricting projections (60, 72 (62, 74)) are disposed on both sides of the intermediate ring (14, 14).</p> |
