The apparatus (1) has a steering device (3) that is provided with a drive unit (2) which is provided with a prime mover (4,6) and a gear box device (5,7). The prime movers are arranged parallel to each other, and rotatable implemented portion of drive unit are pivotably arranged with respect to each other through a bearing unit. The gear box device is provided with several spur gears (23).
