The grinding device has a bearing portion (8) for rotatably supporting a grinding disc (7) along a first rotational axis (1). A grinding disc drive portion (24) is coupled to the grinding disc, for rotating the grinding disc. The bearing portion is rotated by a bearing rotating device along a second rotational axis (2). The first rotational axis is inclined to the second rotational axis. The bearing rotating device is provided with a bearing holder (9) for holding the bearing portion for rotating. An independent claim is included for a method for grinding workpiece.
