PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter capable of attaching a pressure sensor having a sensor film to an internal combustion engine and facilitating maintenance and management work.SOLUTION: The pressure sensor adapter capable of observing the cylinder pressure of an internal combustion engine for a long period of time comprises: a housing having a gas duct; a connection part to a cylinder cover of the internal combustion engine; a rear opening of the gas duct from the housing having a mechanism for closing the rear opening in an aspect with airtightness; and a connection part for inserting a pressure sensor together with a sensor film. A transition line of the opening in the gas duct, which is reached by the sensor film exposed and inserted under gas-pressure in the gas duct, is extended in a plane. The transition line forms a transition to the connection part of the sensor from the outline of the gas duct. Thereby, a continuous transition to the outline of the gas duct from the sensor film can be formed. |
