PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle which efficiently fixes a rear end trim from an area vertically above a rear end member without causing a cargo chamber loaded object at the front side of the rear end member to be affected.SOLUTION: A rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle includes: a floor panel 1; a rear end member 10 disposed at the rear side of the floor panel 1 and extending in a vehicle width direction; and a rear end trim 3 which covers a cargo chamber side surface of the rear end member 10. A stepped part is provided at a connection part for connecting an upper part located at a part of the rear end member 10 when viewed in the vehicle width direction with a lower part located at the front side of the upper part and below the upper part. An opening 14 is formed at the stepped part and an attachment part 34 which may engage with the opening 14 is provided at the rear end trim 3.
