The connection (1) has rolling elements (5) i.e. balls, arranged between a shaft (2) and a hub (3) and for executing a rolling movement during longitudinal displacement between the shaft and the hub. The rolling elements are provided in direct contact with a side wall (8) of a spring (6) of the shaft and a side wall (11) of a groove (9) of the hub. The groove extends in a longitudinal direction, and the rolling elements are formed in spherical, cylindrical or barrel shape. The shaft and the hub are formed with same twist rigidities. The rolling elements are guided through a bearing cage (10).
