PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered pipe line suitably usable for an environment exposed to the outside and excellent in workability, and to provide its construction method and a cover.SOLUTION: A covered pipe line 10 is formed by connecting covered polyethylene pipes 12 to each other with an electrically fused joint 14 and covering the whole connection part with a cover 16. The cover 16 includes a cylindrical body cover 36 molded as an integrated object in the circumferential direction, and a first cover part 40 of the body cover 36 covers the outer face of the electrically fused joint 14. At each end in the axial direction of the body cover 36, a cylindrical end cover 38 is provided which is molded as an integrated object in the circumferential direction. The end cover 38 consisting of a diameter-shrunk part 42 and a small-diameter part 44 covers a clearance between the body cover 36 and a cover layer 20 left on each covered polyethylene pipe 12, and it is fixed onto the outer face of the cover layer 20 on each covered polyethylene pipe 12 with a fastening tool 52. The covered pipe line can be suitably used in such circumstances that the covered pipe line is exposed to the outside because it can avoid a trouble such as cover falling-off, and weather resistance can be imparted to the whole covered pipe line with simple work. |
