PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external skin treatment composition having a branched structure with a sterically-bulky chemical structure; achieving high transdermal absorption in a water soluble compound having skin whitening or rough skin-improvement effect; and having high stability as a formulation and excellent use feeling.SOLUTION: An external skin treatment composition is characterized by containing 1) ursolic acid phosphate and/or a salt thereof, 2) a monoester or a diester of a mixture of methylglucoside and polyglycerol with a fatty acid, where it is more preferable that the fatty acid is stearic acid and isostearic acid and 2-ethylhexyl isononanoate are contained. |
