PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery housing box capable of improving physical strength and enhancing heat dissipation of a storage battery and also to provide a storage battery housing unit using the housing box.SOLUTION: A storage battery housing box 22 includes a reinforcement member 71 which vertically extends between laterally arranged storage batteries 11 housed therein to penetrate through a bottom plate 23 and a top plate 24 of the storage battery housing box 22, and which is joined to the respective plates 23 and 24 to improve the strength of the storage battery housing box 22. The reinforcement member 71 comes into contact with right and left storage batteries 11 and is formed in a vertically penetrating cylindrical shape. |
