PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately calculate an index related to a person staying in a certain area.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises: positioning information acquisition means that acquires the number of mobile terminals whose positions are measured in a target area from positioning information for each of home areas of users of the mobile terminals; and calculation means that multiplies each of the acquired numbers of the mobile terminals in the respective home areas by a weight indicating a feature of the corresponding home area to calculate an area feature amount, and adds up the area feature amount calculated for each home area to calculate an index related to a person staying in the target area.
