PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing device for a sterilizing touch panel, which disinfects a contact area when a user comes into contact with or comes close to the contact area of the sterilizing touch panel.SOLUTION: The sterilizing device comprises a light guiding member 14 and an ultraviolet light source 12. The light guiding member 14 has one surface 144. The ultraviolet light source 12 emits an ultraviolet beam 150 such that the ultraviolet beam 150 is reflected totally within the light guiding member 14. When a deposit 15 comes into contact with or is deposited on the surface 144, a part of a beam 149 in the light guiding member 14 leaks, penetrates the surface 144 due to the total reflection phenomenon, and irradiates the deposit 15. |
