The method involves arranging a decorative layer (1) e.g. film, comprising a froth layer (2) on a side of a heated sandwich arrangement. The heated sandwich arrangement with the decorative layer is positioned at a molding surface of unheated mold press tools (20) for formation of a view side. The heated sandwich arrangement with the decorative layer is compression molded to a sandwich component for simultaneously cooling and forming of a material-fit composite between material layers of the sandwich component. The sandwich component is demolded with a surface structure of the view side. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for execution of a continuous manufacturing method for manufacturing view-side different sandwich components (2) a sandwich component.
