PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove fat of an article to be cooked by superheated steam.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes: a cooking chamber 26 which is disposed inside a body 2 of the heating cooker and has an opened front face; a door 32 for closing the opening of the cooking chamber 26; upper and lower heaters 27 provided in upper and lower parts inside the cooking chamber 26 for heating an article 30 to be cooked; an operation unit 5 for entering the setting of a menu for cooking the article 30 to be cooked; a control unit 45 for controlling to supply the power to the upper and lower heaters 27 by turning ON/OFF in accordance with the menu entered by the operation unit 5; a grilling grid 33 disposed between the upper and lower heaters 27 to place the article 30 to be cooked; a steam tank 41 which is provided on the side of the door 32 of the grilling grid 33 and has a steam jetting port 42b for jetting steam; and a heater 150 which is provided above the steam tank 41 and has an output smaller than the upper and lower heaters 27. The control unit 45 continuously energizes the heater 150 during the heating of the article 30 to be cooked. |
