An actuator is provided with: an output member having an output shaft (9) which rotates about a rotation axis (Ar); a stationary crown gear (5) disposed on the input side of the output member and having teeth formed side by side about the rotation axis; a wobbling crown gear (6) having teeth which are formed about a center axis (Ac) and the number of which is different from that of the teeth of the stationary crown gear (5), and meshing with the stationary crown gear (5); drivers (4) disposed on the input side of the wobbling crown gear (6) so as to be located side by side in the circumferential direction about the rotation axis, the drivers (4) being configured in such a manner that a driver (4) axially displaces the portion of the wobbling crown gear (6) which corresponds to the driver (4); and a stopper (5s) for limiting the tilt of the wobbling crown gear (6) by coming into contact with a part thereof, thereby limiting the depth of meshing between the stationary crown gear (5) and the wobbling crown gear (6). |
