<p>A method of sending measurement messages with updated channel quality measurement information is provided. The method can include sending a first measurement message generated based at least in part on a first channel quality measurement in unassured mode. The method can further include determining whether a handover message is received within a timeout period following sending the first measurement message. In an instance in which it is determined that a handover message is not received within the timeout period, the method can additionally include determining an updated channel quality measurement and sending a new measurement message generated based at least in part on the updated channel quality measurement in unassured mode.</p> |
