PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container configured to reduce cost and stabilize wireless communication, and an image forming device.SOLUTION: A powder container installed detachably from an image forming device body includes: a cylindrical container body for conveying powder stored inside in one direction according to rotation of the container; an opening arranged at one end of a rotation center axis of the container body to discharge the powder to the outside of the container; and information storage means arranged at the other end of the rotation center axis of the container body to store information on the powder at least. The information storage means transmits/receives information to/from communication means of the image forming device by wireless communication. When the container body is installed in the image forming device, the information storage means faces the communication means with a predetermined gap. |
