PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain guide improving durability of a shoe including an engaging section performing a movement regulation of the shoe in relation to a base and improving convenience of the shoe regulated in lateral shift in relation to the base.SOLUTION: In a chain guide in which a base and a shoe 150 are assembled to each other, the shoe 150 includes a fixed hook 160 regulating the movement of the shoe 150 in a traveling direction of a chain by engagement to the base, and a movable hook 170 movable in a longitudinal direction during expansion/contraction of the shoe 150 in the longitudinal direction on the basis of heat deformation by engagement to the base. A shoe protrusion 180 which is formed on a rear face 158 of the shoe 150 and continuously extends in the longitudinal direction over an entering side shoe end 150A and a separation side shoe end 150B is engaged to a base groove which is formed on the base and continuously extends in the longitudinal direction so that the shoe protrusion 180 is movable in the longitudinal direction in relation to the base during expansion/contraction of the shoe 150 and is capable of regulating the movement of the shoe 150 in first and second width directions. |
