PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film with a protective film for molding, which has both of high surface hardness and moldability.SOLUTION: The hard coat film with a protective film for molding comprises: a hard coat film for molding having a hard coat layer which is formed by applying and curing a coating liquid on at least one surface of a substrate film; and a protective film attached to the hard coat film. The substrate film comprises a biaxially oriented polyester film containing a copolymerization polyester. The coating liquid contains at least an ionization radiation curable compound having three or more functional groups and a monofunctional and/or bifunctional ionization radiation curable compound. The hard coat layer contains particles having an average particle diameter of 10 nm or more and 300 nm or less; and the content of the particles in the hard coat layer is 5 mass% or more and 70 mass% or less. The protective film comprises a polypropylene film.
