The invention relates to a method and a device for the destruction of cells with uncontrolled proliferation in an animal organism, in a selective manner, with minimum damage to the surrounding tissue and without needing to perform any kind of surgical operation on the patient. The method comprises the detection of the tumor area (1) and the sequential and alternate application of at least two alternating magnetic fields with different directions to the area to be treated or activated until the cells are heated and destroyed.
