The washing machine has measuring device for measuring dynamic surface tension according to bubble pressure processes in detergent container. A measuring chamber (3) is connected with a detergent container (2) through an inlet opening (13). The measuring chamber is closed air-tight by a switchable valve (4). The capillary (7) applied in the measuring chamber is in connection with an air supply device for generation of air flow for bubble formation. A pressure sensor (9) is provided for measuring the bubble pressure. A valve device acting as return valve is arranged in the air supply branch. An independent claim is included for a method for measuring dynamic surface tension in a washing machine.
