PURPOSE: A free surface regulating device of a ballast tank for a ship is provided to improve the freedom of the design on the arrangement of the top side equipment and to minimize the damage to the top side equipment by regulating the rolling period of the ship. CONSTITUTION: A free surface regulating device of a ballast tank(100) for a ship(1) comprises a ballast tank, a barrier(300), and a regulating unit. The barrier is arranged inside the ballast tank and divides the inside of the ballast tank into multiple independent storage tanks(200).
