The cutting insert of one embodiment of the present invention is provided with an upper face, a lower face, a side face which is connected to both the upper face and the lower face, a through-hole which penetrates through the cutting insert from the upper face to the lower face, and a main cutting blade which is partially located at the line of intersection between the upper face and the side face and which has a circular arc shape in a plan view. In the plan view, the center of the through-hole is located so as to be offset further toward the side opposite the side where the circular arc-shaped main cutting blade is formed than the center of an imaginary circle, the outer periphery of which corresponds to the circular arc of the main cutting blade. |
