PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stability of cooking instrument support by a trivet which is freely attachable to and detachable from a burner, and to easily handle the trivet.SOLUTION: A trivet comprises a first opening/closing piece 2 and a second opening/closing piece 3 which is provided consecutively to the first opening/closing piece 2 so as to be freely elastically opened/closed for constituting a leaf spring. Between both the opening/closing pieces 2, 3, a gap is formed in the state where an external force does not act on the opening/closing pieces. When a burner B is fitted from a lateral side in a horizontal direction of the burner B in such a manner that holding parts 5 formed in both the opening/closing pieces 2, 3 of a removable trivet 1 are abutted to the gap, the removable trivet 1 is firmly fixed to the burner B by energizing forces of both the opening/closing pieces 2, 3. In the removable trivet 1, backlash is relatively unlikely to occur between both the opening/closing pieces 2, 3 and a cooking instrument can be supported at ease and safely. |
