PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridgeless PFC converter with average current mode control, capable of detecting input current without increasing production cost.SOLUTION: During inrush current is limited in a bridgeless PFC converter, a phase information of AC power to be input is detected based on input voltage, and during a limitation of the inrush current is canceled and PFC boost control is implemented, current flowing between switching elements included each of upper and lower arms and a ground side of an output edge, is synthesized based on the above cycle to obtain the input current that is a parameter required for the PFC boost control with the average current mode without using an expensive hall current sensor and high breakdown voltage differential amplifier. |
