PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a person discriminate a change in color of a traffic signal by the sense of touch or difference of a vibration rhythm.SOLUTION: A road surface traffic signal includes: pattern determination means which receives lighting color information indicative of a color in which a traffic signal is lit, and outputs a pattern signal based on the lighting color information; road surface rugged pattern formation means having a plurality of movable rugged modules arranged, each of which forms difference in level on a road surface when a top surface of a movable part changed to a projecting state and a recessed state is in the projecting state or the recessed state; and rugged pattern control means which receives the pattern signal outputted from the pattern determination means and outputs a driving control signal for individually driving the plurality of movable rugged modules of the road surface rugged pattern formation means in accordance with the pattern signal, to cause the road surface rugged pattern formation means to form a rugged pattern according with the pattern signal. |
