PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus for transmitting the meaning of a character code even if glyph is deficient, and to provide a control program therefor.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus includes: a first display control part, a first extraction part, and a second display control part. The first display control part controls a display part to display a character code converted to glyph corresponding to the character code. When the glyph displayed on the display part is an alternative glyph which indicates that there is no glyph corresponding to the character code, the first extraction part extracts a bitmap showing the glyph corresponding to the character code from an image with accompanying information including the same character code. The second display control part controls the display part to display the extracted bitmap in association with the alternative glyph. |
