PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition having an adiponectin reduction suppressing effect, effective to prevent diabetes and/or obesity.SOLUTION: It is found that a hydrolysate obtained from &bgr;- conglycinin included in soybean protein, specifically among them, a hydrophobic fraction adsorbed on a synthetic adsorbent and eluted with 80% (v/v) hydrous ethanol effectively suppresses adiponectin reduction. This can be widely used as a composition for general food and pharmaceuticals. |
