PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a secondary battery capable of maintaining an excellent state of charge.SOLUTION: Provided is a manufacturing method of a secondary battery in which a wound body 1 wound with a positive electrode sheet, a separator and a negative electrode sheet laminated on each other is housed in a housing. The manufacturing method comprises: a first step for housing the wound body 1 into the housing 2; and a second step for performing, from outside the housing 2, high-temperature compression on the wound body 1 via the housing 2, with the wound body 1 housed in the housing 2. The manufacturing method preferably comprises a third step for performing initial charge, while restraining a portion substantially equal to a portion where the wound body 1 is subjected to high-temperature compression via the housing 2 in the second step. |
