The present invention has a preparation step (S1) in which coating liquid curing conditions are satisfied, and a curing step (S2) in which the coating liquid is cured. The coating liquid curing conditions comprise a first condition in which the angle of an axis of an optical lens substrate relative to horizontal is within a pre-set angle range, and a second condition in which the optical lens substrate is rotated at a pre-set rotation rate about the axis. The pre-set angle range is a range between the maximum inclination angle of the axis such that a peripheral edge of the lens face is positioned at the highest position of the lens face, and the maximum inclination angle of the axis such that the peripheral edge of the lens face is positioned at the lowest position of the lens face. The pre-set rotation rate is a rotation rate at which the coating liquid applied to the lens face is retained at the application position.
