A medical support device distributes medical information of a patient to external terminals the supporters have, and shares comments from the supporters to support diagnosis and treatment of a doctor in charge of the patient. In the medical support device, an information sending section distributes the information to the external terminals. An information receiving section receives response information sent from the doctor or the supporter in response to the distributed information. A relation display controller displays the distributed and response information in a related manner. An importance determining section determines the degree of importance of the distributed information. When the degree of importance of the distributed information equals or exceeds a threshold value, a reception state setting section suspends transmission of new information from the external terminals and a hospital terminal and puts the terminals in a ready-to-receive state. |
