The invention relates to an electronic interface (1), in particular a USB interface, preferably a mini-USB or micro- USB interface (1) for the automotive sector, having an electromagnetic shielding (2) which has two shielding portions (20, 24) which are spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction (L) of the interface (1) and which have different widths in a transverse direction (Q) of the interface (1), wherein the two shielding portions (20, 24) are in an electrically conductive connection (200, 202) with respect to each other at least at two sides of the interface (1).
