PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embodiment characterized in simple and inexpensive design as a mixing and/or vaporizing device for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A mixer/vaporizer for an exhaustion system 5 of an internal combustion engine 1 includes: a support 20 which extends at right angles to an axial direction and surrounds a flat section of a mixing/vaporizing device 12 where an exhaust gas flows. The support has opposed side walls, and short-side walls connect long-side side walls to each other. At least at one axial end of one of the long-side side walls, a guide blade is arranged which projects to opposed long-side walls and is provided obliquely to the axial direction. An axial end of the first long-side side wall axially shift from an axial end of a second long-side side wall on the same side of the mixing/vaporizing device.
