PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that missing of SNMP traps transmitted from a serve or a network device is likely to result in a serious oversight of a system failure.SOLUTION: A monitoring system according to the present invention is configured to include: a server or a network device; a monitoring server that monitors the server or the network device; and a capture server that is disposed between the server or the network device and the monitoring server, and captures a UDP bucket transmitted from the server or the network device to the monitoring server. The capture server compares the number of UDP buckets captured from the server or the network device with the number of UDP buckets captured from the monitoring serve and received by the monitoring server, and when the numbers of UDP buckets does not coincide with each other, controls the server or the network device so as to transmit the UDP bucket once more. |
