PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a carbon cluster compound having practically sufficient dispersibility, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The production method of an aqueous dispersion of a carbon cluster compound comprises a step of mixing a carbon cluster compound (a) and &bgr;-1,3-1,6 glucan (c) in a solution which is adjusted to be alkaline using an amine (b) as an alkali, where &bgr;-1,6 bond has a degree of branching of 50 to 100% relative to &bgr;-1,3 bond, and a step of neutralizing the mixed solution by adding a neutralizer (d) to the mixed solution. |
