The device has a reporting ram (10) mounted axially parallel to a short-circuiter (1). The short-circuiter is transferred into a short circuit position by an explosively produced gas flow. A pressure relief channel is provided in the short-circuiter, and reduces a high pressure produced by the gas flow. The pressure relief channel includes an outlet, which leads to the reporting ram on a closure-cap. The reporting ram is movably guided between a normal position and a reporting position, which is taken after application of the gas flow.
