PURPOSE: An image correction method, an image forming device, and a blur effect correction method of an image are provided to control a black value of a lookup table and to control levels of other colors excluding a black color, thereby supplying the black color with improved readability when a document is copied. CONSTITUTION: A UI(User Interface) unit(170) receives control amount for a color that blur effect is generated in an image. A color control unit(150) controls the color that the blur effect is generated in an image. The UI unit reflects the control amount and displays a level of each color. An image correction unit(160) corrects the image by applying the controlled color. A printing unit(180) outputs the corrected image.
