PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform print settings according to individual functions unique to respective vendors in automatic printing destination allocation in a multi-vendor environment.SOLUTION: In the present invention, at the time when a user requests display of a UI for print settings (that is, before a print job is created), an output destination printer is automatically determined on the basis of attribute information of the user that can be acquired by an OS when the user logs in. The determination of the output destination printer at the time when the display for the UI for print settings is requested makes it possible to dynamically acquire the necessary DEVMODE structure from a remote driver corresponding to the output destination printer and reflect the DEVMODE structure on the UI for print settings. As a result, the user can perform, to the automatically determined output destination printer, print settings according to basic functions provided in common by all vendors, and print settings according to individual functions unique to the output destination printer as well. |
