PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-based material melting apparatus which can reduce power consumption and improve a product yield.SOLUTION: A scoop member 52 is suspended in a melting space 305 of a closed melting furnace 3, and driven by a driving mechanism so as to be movable upwardly and downwardly to be located between a lower position in the melting space 305 corresponding to a scoop position of scooping up an aluminum-based melt 90 and an upper position in the melting space 305 corresponding to a discharge position of discharging the scooped-up aluminum-based melt 90 to a melt conduit 38 and so as to swing around an X-axis between the scoop position and the discharge position relative to the melting furnace 3. |
