PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a coolant directly to a region where a cutting blade and a material to be cut comes into contact with each other, and to fragments chips finely by enhancing cooling effects on the cutting blade by making supply pressure thereof high.SOLUTION: Jet holes 18 for coolant are provided on both a discharge groove surface 16 for chip and a flank 15 facing the discharge groove surface. The flank facing the discharge groove surface is an inclined surface ground up to an angle at which a coolant jetted from the jet holes is jetted toward a cutting blade 12. Consequently, a position where the coolant is supplied directly to a contact region between the cutting blade and the material to be ground is specified. |
