PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method that have no risk that setting information will be stolen.SOLUTION: A communication system 1 communicates between radio communication devices having proximity communication 4 and wireless LAN communication 5. A second radio communication device 3 transmits identification information to identify its own device by the proximity communication 4, receives a management frame of the wireless LAN communication 5 including the identification information, transmits a management frame including information indicating reception of the identification information, receives a management frame including a result of prescribed calculation performed on setting information, obtains the setting information from the calculation result by inverse calculation of the prescribed calculation and sets the obtained setting information. A first radio communication device 2 receives the identification information from the second radio communication device 3 by the proximity communication 4, transmits a management frame including the identification information, receives a management frame including identification information reception information, performs prescribed calculation to setting information prepared in advance and transmits a management frame after putting the result into the management frame. |
