PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight vegetation mat for greening which is excellent in weed control, has high water supplying ability even on a non-soil surface covered with mortar or the like, is hard to break or decompose, does not cause washout of vegetation base soil, is effective in conservation or formation of the surrounding landscape, easy to lay, and on which plants not blocking traffic view can grow for a long time.SOLUTION: The vegetation mat for greening comprises a base part and an upper part. The base part comprises a light shielding net sheet of 95% light-shielding rate and made of a hardly degradable material, a polyethylene sheet having pores all over the sheet, a non-woven fabric through which plant root can grow in this order from the bottom. The upper part comprises a non-woven fabric through which plant root can grow, plant seeds, a water-soluble paper sheet, a polyethylene sheet having pores all over the sheet and a light shielding net sheet of 60% light-shielding rate in this order from the bottom. Between the base part and the upper part, a vegetation base part is formed by spreading vegetation base soil on the base part 4 cm high and compressing it to 2 cm in height, and the base part and the upper part are integrated to maintain the structure and prevent the vegetation base soil from moving by stitching them using a hardly degradable string (Kuremona) at certain intervals in vertical and horizontal directions. |
