A system for the live migration of a virtual machine, comprising: a management node, a source server, a target server, a PCIE switch and an SR-IOV network card, wherein the source server comprises a VM before live migration; the target server comprises a VM after live migration;the source server, the target server, the management node and the SR-IOV network card are respectively connected to a physical port of the PCIE switch for communications; the management node is used for converting a connection relationship between a VF module used by the VM before live migration and the source server into a connection relationship between the VF module and the target server by means of the PCIE switch; and the target server uses the VF module by means of the PCIE switch, according to the connection relationship between the target server and the VF module configured by the management node, so as to complete the live migration of the virtual machine. By switching the above-mentioned connection relationships, the system ensures that the services of receiving or sending data packets are not lost, and ensures the continuity of the network services. |
